Fuel and Hotdogs...life is good!

Went to one of my favorite gas stations today. Ernies. Mini-service gas pumping and a Nathan's Hotdog stand. Yes, Kosher hotdogs can be found in Nebraska!

Found it!

How could one handbag be such a pain in my heinie? For 2 days I could not find my NEW digital camera. Tonight, for the 3rd time I emptied my computer bag, brief case, and purse. Low and behold...there it was. Stuck in the bottom of the purse! Argh.
So, I guess I will take a lesson from this and be persistent. Thank you St. Anthony! I know, I am Jewish...but I take all available help at all times!

Wiimote Interactive Whiteboard

Today I was able to make an interactive whiteboard using a Wiimote and an infrared pen! Cannot wait to try it out with a projector. I am thinking it will work better since I seem to "de-calibrate" every time I jiggle the screen when I touch it. I will keep you updated...

Mr. Magic

Today I was checking my parent's house while they winter in Vegas. I wanted to share a glimpse of my dad's magic room. It is actually a functioning theater with spot lights and sound system. Pretty cool...many fun family evenings! I decided to snap a photo but only had my Treo. A bit grainy but it gets the point across.

Mrs. Feldman

I am pleased to say, I do not look exactly look like this...Even though one of my students seems to think so! However, I may need to have a makeup consultation at the Clinique counter!

I Heart Science!

Today we had a living organism lab. The kids learned so much about the classification system. Teaching with someone who loves science makes life wonderful!

Onion Goggles

Onion goggles. I can't believe it, but they work! At least so far...I chopped a big onion as one of the ingredients of my Moroccan Tomato Soup and I did not shed a tear. I could definitely spell how potent it was, but it did not make me cry. The true test will be during Passover if I chose to help make home made horseradish!

SPED room

I had the chance to tour a new school in our district. This is a SPED room which obviously is a place where people understand the multiple sensory needs students have. So cool!
