Home?

Oh my goodness...what have they done to the house I grew up in? What you cannot see is the junked car in front of the one at the bottom of the driveway. And all of the things thrown onto the lower patio. I can only imagine what the inside looks like. This is NOT the way it looked before it was sold in the late 80s...I gues you can never go back!

Harlem Globetrotters...never gets old!

Today we went to see the Harlem Globetrotters. Very fun! I felt bad for our local sportscaster who took quite the slap from Big Easy Lofton! Check out the scratches!

Fire Regulations

Due to fire regulations at the Nebraska State Capitol we can no longer have Holocaust survivors light candles during the state commemoration. I am testing out battery operated versions. This will be an interesting adventure.

Yesterday, the toilet and floor drain backed up in the accessible restrroom. Unfortunately my favorite brown leather shoes were ruined. Goodbye comfortable shoes, I will miss you!

I am in the process of converting my daughter's bedroom (off to college) into my office. It is definitely a work in progress! Need some paint and artwork. Looking at the photo I realize I have a LONG way to go!

Liliana

This week I reconnected with Liliana (left), a foreign exchange student who lived with us in 1976! Lili came to us from Santiago Chile. She was instantly a member of the family. One of my fondest memories was when she woke up one morning and she realized that she had just had a dream in English! What a small world!

My daughters found this sign in the garage while I was out of town!
Not too bad for being 19 years old!
