Bubbie and Zayde

This is a picture (of a picture...) of my grandparents or Bubbie and Zayde as I called them. They both passed on in the early 80s. I am surprised how often I think of them even after all of this time. I can't imagine what their life was like coming from Russia to America...I am who I am today because of their courage!

Medical Helicopter

As I was driving today I saw a helicopter leaving the trauma hospital. Prayers to all who may have needed help!

Lawn Boy Quest

Today I was on a quest for a lawn mower part. Once I found the part my biggest obstacle was the VERY rude person who answered the phone at the small engine repair shop. I am pretty sure she hung up on me at least once! Think I will order online instead.

I took this after the bell rang on Thursday. Lots of parents celebrating with their kids. Notice the black limo waiting for a lucky group of 8th graders.

Pledge

I finally had a chance to snap a photo in the hallway as the Pledge of Allegiance was recited...Our school recites the pledge EVERY day after announcements. It is a great sight to see students and adults stop in their tracks and say the "pledge"

Senior Prank 2009

What an original prank...no destruction of property! Seniors blocked off the student lot with their vehicles. On their windows there were phrases such as "Think Outside The Box"
